SLASH is a magazine about the production and illusion of creating horror for entertainment. Creating illusions through sets, props, makeup, and FX to create an experience to invoke emotion and scare someone is facinating to me, particularly as someone who used to be so terrified the horror genre. To me, horror deserves the appreciation and recognition as much as any other genre in the industry, yet it often goes unrecognized. With SLASH, I hope to give horror and it’s dedicated artists their long overdue recognition. This is a single issue magazine printed at 8.5in x 11in.
